This young and boundlessly energetic winemaker who has served at the helm of
the Napa Wine Company's wine making team for over 12 years, Rob Lawson broke out on his own over five years ago. His passion for Pinot Grigio, heavily influenced both by his lust for clean,
unfettered flavor and that for his beautiful Italianesque wife Pavi, paired in encouraging him to produce an eponymous brand that has set many Napa restaurants on their ear.

Not only has Pavi Pinot Grigio Napa sold out quickly with each vintage, but
Rob has added both an equally demanded Dolcetto from the Valley and then went off to Conegliano in the Veneto to produce his own Italian P.G. and bring it into the US market directly from the
source. On top of all this Mr. Lawson has produced some of the finest Napa Valley Cabs for the Beckstoffer family, Kapcsandy and Ghost Block among others. He still makes wine at N.V.W.
Company and has begun a new project down in the Mondoza in Argentina.

Whew and wow! So it with great pleasure that we bring friend and
neighbor Rob Lawson directly to the Bistro on May 19th, replete with renditions of both the aforementioned Pinot Grigios, the delectable 2006 Bolcetto, Tuck Beckstoffer's top of the line 2005 "Vinifera"
Cabernet and, to complete the coup de coups, the 2005 Ghost Block!
