Four Principals from four very "high end" Santa Barbara wineries will proffer and pour during the tasting:

Refugio Ranch,
Martian Ranch
and Sanguis
The cost for the tasting will be only $18 per person, including all food and wine. For those who wish to stay at a | k | a for dinner, or cannot make the tasting but would love our food and these awesome wines, there will be a five course wine dinner immediately following the tasting/cook's demo.
At the chef's demo...
Bistro 45's Steven Lona will offer up:
1.) Roasted Brussels Sprouts with duck confit,
preserved kumquats and sunchoke chips
2.) Salad of organic fennel and potatoes...
brown butter anisette aioli
3.) Fricasse of white asparagus and arugula
with spicy grapefruit vin and Shishito peppers
a / k / a's James Lambrinos will present:
1.) Roasted butternut squash soup with mint yogurt
2.) Kabocha squash risotto with a cinnamon spiced creme
3.) Grilled purple and white asparagus with truffle vin;
grilled fennel with charred tomato vin;
grilled Brussels sprouts with chipotle vin

A Sustainable Table Wine Dinner
Following the chef tasting/demo,
a | k | a Chef James will present a private dinner to the first 20 patrons to RSVP. All four wineries pour with the principals going table hopping and James' compelling compendium of five courses being served, featuring Yellowfin tuna tartare, wild Barramundi with tomato risotto, Pitman Farms duck, an all natural Aussie lamb strip loin and butterscotch pot au creme for dessert.
